Photo Essay No 4: Normandy
We parted with the City of Lights to appreciate the significance of the D-Day beaches in Normandy. The journey was well worth the detour and served to enlighten our perspective, reckoning just how fortunate we are to benefit from such sacrifice. We visited the Batteries, Omaha Beach, the U.S. Memorial, and Pointe du Hoc.
