Need a Rug?

I found these rugs while searching for last week’s color boost.  I love it.  Whimsical and relaxed (And, not to punishing on the pocket book!).  As described by the retailer, Ballard Designs the La Poeme Rug includes, "words from famed 17th century French fabulist, Jean de La Fontaine. La Cigale et La Fourmi tells the story of an industrious ant, a carefree cricket and the end of summer. Inspired by the fables of Aesop, La Fontaine wrote volumes of simple poems using animals to teach real-life lessons.”

So, lets create a room, shall we?  Lets go with the 3rd color option (green) above.

  1. Love the rug and your bedroom creation - and these also work great in a very contemporary setting - think B&B Italia "Harry" sofa, acrylic coffee table, stack of architecture books, orchid in simple cache pot - you get the picture.
