Embroidered Panels

Many of you know my sweet family.  And, many of you know my dear sister-in-law!  The ONE and ONLY.  So, she and I often gush over things we love on Etsy or other places, even though oftentimes we are both too cheap to pull the trigger.  Well, this week was no such time.  I discovered the following panels—antique embroidered velvet panels—on Etsy at Greatfindz. (Check out  the shop, its amazing).  I “convo’ed” the seller inquiring about the pieces.  I didn’t hear from her for days; in the meantime, I shared the same with my sister-in-law.  So the seller (Dawn) gets back to me with the regretful news that the panels had been sold at an antique fair in Seattle. 

 

Earlier this week, to my pure delight and tears, I discovered they were purchased, but for me (and not at an antique fair in Seattle!).  I was overjoyed and wanted to share them with you, first, because of the sweet friend I have in my sister-in-law and, secondly, to show-off what amazing pieces they are!

So, they were quite the pair in this little charade.  And, I can assure you any delay I experienced at Greatfindz was purely a function of the surprise!
